Screening Assessment
01
What is a Screening Assessment used for?
-
If you have concerns about your child's learning, behaviour, or emotional responses.
-
You're not sure whether what you are seeing is something more.
-
You know there's something going on but don't know if it's Autism, ADHD, or both.
-
You're child is having trouble learning but you're not sure if it's a learning difference or ADHD.
02
What is involved in a screening assessment?
-
Depending on your concerns we can screen for specific learning differences (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia), ADHD, or Autism.
-
The will involve an interview with you and your child, and may also involve some short tests.
-
A report of the outcome can be provided for an additional fee.
03
What is the goal of the screening assessment?
-
To determine if a further assessment is appropriate.
-
To give you recommendations for next steps if further assessment isn't recommended.
-
To save you money, by not completing a longer assessment if it is unnecessary. If a full-assessment is recommended we will discount you the cost of the screening assessment.
